Ten-man Aston Villa U18s dig in for an opening-day draw with Bournemouth

A depleted Aston Villa opened their Under-18 Premier League South season with a 2-2 draw at home to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, digging in after going down to ten men.
The young hosts could hardly have started better. Jahmi Kellyman put them ahead on 16 minutes, only for Bournemouth to respond straight away through Mingo Dane. Villa regained the initiative almost at once, though, as Daniel Adediran restored their lead inside 21 minutes, before Farid Addey's dismissal shifted the balance. First, he received a yellow card after a reckless offence, one minute later he entered in altercation with Joe Spence and ref Simon King, helped by his assistant Kyle Mowbray, sent Addey off with a straight red card.
