Unai spoke at his usual Friday press conference and reiterated his belief that Aston Villa are continuing to improve game-by-game, following a slow start to the season.

The Villans are yet to record a Premier League win this term, but did pick up three points in their maiden Champions League match of the campaign, beating Club Brugge 3-2 on Tuesday. Emery is hoping the enhanced performance levels will carry into Saturday, when Nottingham Forest travel to Villa Park.

Villa have won all five home meetings against Forest since they regained promotion to the top flight, including the 4-0 win in May that secured a place in the Europa League final.
