Aston Villa have confirmed the loan signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham United.
The former Manchester United defender will provide competition at right-back for Matty Cash this season, following the summer exits of Andres Garcia and Kosta Nedeljkovic, both of whom have left on loan.
Wan-Bissaka arrives at Villa Park following West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League last season. The DR Congo international made 23 league starts for the Hammers in 2025/26 but has not featured in either of the side’s opening two fixtures of the new term.
Wan-Bissaka joins Villa on a season-long loan, with a conditional obligation to buy. The deal is similar to that of Alejandro Garnacho, another ex-United man, who signed on loan from Chelsea earlier this window.
